British actress Freema Agyeman is lending her support to National Doodle Day 2017 on September 22, which aims to raise funds for national charity Epilepsy Action.
Celebrities including Sir Grayson Perry, Dame Mary Berry, Manolo Blahnik, Eddie Redmayne and Olivia Colman have supported the annual event since its inception 14 years ago, and have submitted sketches to be auctioned on eBay this year, with proceeds going towards supporting the work of the charity. The Doctor Who star, whose young niece lives with the condition, commented 'National Doodle Day is all about spreading the word about epilepsy, helping people with epilepsy and their loved ones to get information about this common yet widely misunderstood condition, when they need it most'.
